AQnx Inc’s (virtual-collaboration firm) Chief Vision Officer Tim Dixon, M.Ed. started his career as Brock University’s Director of a fee-for-service research-center, disseminating empirical research while leveraging organizational use of experiential learning.
He then served as Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce’s Leadership Centre Senior Consultant - designing and facilitating workshops and complex stakeholder engagement processes; and much later at same venue (now a privately-owned conference centre) served for years as Meeting Experience Architect for strategy and innovation sessions; following 15yrs leading his organizational-development consultancy InCourage.
With collaborators, he’s also created technology-driven adventure-based multimedia simulations.
Tim volunteers by providing suicide prevention training and has officiated at snowboard competitions from youth development races to World Cup events.
He also coaches high school wrestling and trains submission fighters (grappling & MMA) as an accomplished BJJ black-belt; having won several national & international jiu-jitsu titles - remaining competitive post-50 …until a recent head-on car collision catastrophically ‘modified’ those pursuits.
