45. Cyber Resilience for Email: Why a Defense-Only Strategy is Not Enough to Stay Ahead of Today’s Cyber Threats

May 21, 2018

Email is the number-one business application used by companies. It’s also the number-one vector used to execute cyber attacks.

A defense-only security strategy alone is not designed to protect against the level and volume of advanced attacks.

In this session, Brian Pinnock, Sales Engineering Manager at Mimecast MEA, will discuss how continuing to invest in disparate technologies and focus on a defense-only security strategy will lead to consequences like intellectual property loss, unplanned downtime, decreased productivity and increased vulnerabilities.

The only way for organisations to get ahead of cyber criminals and holistically protect their business is to adopt a new approach to email security. Organisations need to embrace Cyber Resilience for Email by ensuring they have security before, continuity during and are able to recover after an attack.
