Change Leadership & Transformation

Kanban has matured way beyond its team roots and is these days promoted as the alternative path to business agility. Unfortunately getting there doesn't happen automatically and requires acts of leadership at all levels. This section is for the change agents who want to guide this evolution.

Why Pursue Business Agility with Kanban?

You have probably heard this a million times: To survive and thrive every business has to become agile. But what does this mean and why do we at Xuviate believe that Kanban is the perfect tool to support this journey? The following 6 videos of our planned-for 10 episode series provide the opening arguments and should be watched in sequence.

Change is the new normal and investing in business agility has become a strategic imperative. In this video Mathias explains why we have come to this point.

We know how busy it can get. We also know how critical it is to keep finding time to improve how you work. Which is why we prepare one monthly email to summarise everything interesting happening in the Xuviate Kanban & Business Agility universe.

Acquire a Lean and Agile Mindset

In Kanban we try to optimise the flow of work from idea to the customer. In traditional organisations we try to keep every person as utilised as possible.  Anybody who leads a Kanban implementation is quickly confronted by the incompatibility of these two paradigms. In fact, to have any chance of success, you have to unlearn 20th century management thinking and replace it with an Agile and Lean mindset.

Annette Vendelbo, Founder of Xvoto, speaks to Mathias about the side of Agile that is not as visible as the practices are, but is at least as important!

Consider Joining a Peer-Group

It is amazing how much and how fast we can learn from others like us, if just given the opportunity to do so. Unfortunately very few leaders belong to a professional peer group. Given the many benefits, we are truly mystified why this should be so! Perhaps the following posts about Masterminds and their benefits will help you seek out closer relationships with other change agents.
